FBI Seizes Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Alligator in Los Angeles Drug Bust

FBI agents conducted a raid on a luxury downtown Los Angeles apartment on September 14, 2026, arresting Marvin Angelito, 27, and Susan Gonzalez, 26, who are charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. During the operation, agents seized approximately 94 pounds of fentanyl, nearly 16 pounds of cocaine, drug-making equipment, and an alligator housed in a glass tank. The apartment, located on the 45th floor of a high-rise building at 230 W. Olympic Blvd, was identified as a drug trafficking location. Investigators had been monitoring Angelito and Gonzalez since summer 2026, using a criminal informant to arrange a drug deal involving 500,000 fentanyl pills for $125,000. The informant participated in a video call where Angelito displayed the drugs. Following the successful transaction, a search warrant was executed, leading to the discovery of the drugs, an AR-15 rifle, a gold-plated Desert Eagle .50-caliber pistol, and various drug manufacturing tools. Both suspects appeared in court, where Angelito was ordered detained and Gonzalez was released on a $15,000 bond. Arraignment dates are set for October 2 and October 9, respectively.
