Vice President JD Vance was interrupted by a protester during his speech at a rally for Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) in Olathe, Kansas.

The protester expressed discontent, stating to reporters as security escorted him away, “Our president hates Jesus.”

Vance responded to the protester, stating, “He decided to come in and lie about my very dear friend Doc Marshall. The reality is that Doc Marshall has stood up for everyday Americans every single day.”

Vance also mentioned a similar incident from the previous week at a Republican midterm convention in Dallas, where a protester disrupted his keynote address.

“The last time I gave a speech, and we had a guy who was interrupting, he had the common courtesy to bring a Mexican flag, so we knew where he stood,” he remarked.

Vance continued to support Marshall, emphasizing the records of President Donald Trump and Marshall.

“For five years, Doc Marshall has fought tirelessly for the people of the great state of Kansas. As amazing as he is in public, in private, Roger Marshall is just as good a senator and just as good of a man,” Vance stated. “He is the guy who tells the lobbyists, ‘I don’t fight for you. I don’t work for you. I work for the people in this room.’ And he means it every single day.”

Vance's visit to Kansas, a traditional Republican stronghold, occurs amid reports that Marshall’s former OBGYN practice sued over 700 patients for unpaid bills, resulting in the arrest of 81 patients.

“Roger has been the guy who comes to work every single day and fights for you, and in the process, he has made an incredible ally of our administration as we fought to implement the agenda that every single person in this room voted for in 2024,” Vance added. “This is a man who fights for you.”
