Kyle Reyes from Law Enforcement Today stated that Jelly Roll did not respond to the invitation sent on April 26, 2026, but the organization decided to withdraw it after the Kimmel segment.</p><p>A source indicated that Jelly Roll's team was not contacted about the event and learned of the withdrawal through social media. The event is scheduled for November at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump's resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The gala aims to raise funds for FLEOA and the FLEOA Foundation, which supports law enforcement families. The president of FLEOA noted in a statement that the organization is non-partisan and committed to supporting law enforcement.</p><p>Reyes announced the withdrawal of the invitation after Jelly Roll's comments on Kimmel's show, where he made jokes about Trump's weight and fitness. Jelly Roll stated, "Well, Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me that physical fitness is very important." He also mentioned his weight loss of 300 pounds, equating it to losing an entire Donald Trump.</p><p>Reyes, who manages the Blue Lives Matter account on X, explained the event's theme as "American Superheroes" and mentioned that they would be joined by actors such as Lou Ferrigno, Dean Cain, and Kevin Sorbo.
