14 individuals hospitalized at Chainsmokers concert in San Jose

The Chainsmokers' concert on September 4 in San Jose resulted in 14 individuals being hospitalized. The San Jose Fire Department reported that they responded at 8:22 p.m. to Discovery Meadow for reports of multiple patients requiring medical attention. An Ambulance Task Force was requested, along with additional advanced life support units and a Battalion Chief to manage the situation. A total of 14 ambulances were dispatched, and all 14 patients were transported to local hospitals. According to ABC7, police indicated that 10 of the individuals required hospitalization, with many affected by alcohol or drugs. The current condition of those hospitalized is unknown, and the Chainsmokers have not yet commented on the incident. The duo, consisting of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, shared concert footage on Instagram the following day but did not address the situation. This incident follows a previous Chainsmokers performance at the Splash House event in Palm Springs, where seven people were hospitalized due to a fight and flying bottles, resulting in nine injuries from broken glass. Additionally, during a secret show by Garth Brooks in Denver on September 3, over 25 attendees required medical assistance, reportedly due to high temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.
