Stray bullet from nearby lounge fight kills Frito-Lay worker inside Sam's Club

<p>An argument outside a lounge in Nashville resulted in a stray bullet penetrating the metal wall of a nearby Sam's Club, killing a Frito-Lay worker, according to police. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Paris Carlock of Murfreesboro, was conducting an early-morning product inventory in the chip aisle shortly after 4 a.m. when he was struck in the head by the bullet.</p><p>Sam's Club staff provided assistance to Carlock before he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, as reported by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.</p><p>Investigators believe the gunfire was linked to an argument that began inside Lavo Lounge on Antioch Pike, located down the street from the Sam's Club. Police stated that security removed the individuals involved from the lounge, but the dispute continued outside, with gunshots heard as multiple vehicles left the area.</p><p>One of the bullets struck the exterior wall of the Sam's Club and hit Carlock while he was working inside, according to police. The department characterized Carlock as an innocent victim.</p><p>Homicide Unit detectives are currently pursuing leads, but no arrests have been announced, and descriptions of the individuals or vehicles involved have not been released.
