<p>President Donald Trump warned that Great Britain is at a "tipping point" on Thursday, specifically citing the country’s current immigration policies and looming energy crisis.</p>
<p>Trump made the remarks during an interview with Bev Turner on GB News’s "The Late Show Live". He expressed concerns about Britain’s future, cautioning that the country would face significant challenges if it did not change its current immigration and energy policies. Trump stated that Great Britain has a "tremendous immigration problem" and a "tremendous energy problem," highlighting high energy costs and the influx of migrants into the country in recent years.</p>
<p>“Look, your country’s in trouble,” Trump told Turner. “You’re on the edge of disaster. I call it a tipping point. More than most countries, you have a tremendous immigration problem, and you have a tremendous energy problem. Your energy is three, four times higher than it should be. If you don’t stop people pouring into your country from all over the world, you’re not going to have a country left.”</p>
<p>In a briefing filed by the United Kingdom Parliament, it was reported that energy costs in Great Britain are expected to increase significantly, predicting that electricity bills for typical consumption will be 58% above their winter 2021/22 level. The briefing noted that the average annual bill for typical gas and electricity consumption under the July to September 2026 direct debit price cap is £1,663, which is 18% higher than its recent low in July to September 2024.</p>
<p>Trump suggested that Britain could address its energy concerns by utilizing resources from the North Sea. He stated, “Energy you can solve by going to the North Sea, and becoming rich. One of the great energy sources in the world, and I know them all. I have Venezuela, I have the United States. I know them all, and the North Sea, the great North Sea oil, is phenomenal.”</p>
<p>He dismissed environmental concerns, suggesting that environmentalists were incorrect about the availability of oil in the area. “The environmental lunatics would have you believe, ‘Oh, there’s not that much left’. You have 500 years left, and they haven’t even found the best of it,” Trump said.</p>
<p>The conversation then shifted to immigration in Britain. Trump was asked about the riots in Spain over migration in Ceuta. He expressed that he took the immigration issue seriously during his presidency, stating, “I closed our border. We haven’t had a person coming illegally into our country. Nobody, nobody gets in, and you could do the same thing.”</p>
<p>Trump criticized European immigration policies, predicting that they would eventually “destroy Europe.” He remarked on the situation in Spain, stating, “What’s happened with Spain is an outrage. It’s going to ruin their whole country. It’s going to ruin the system. It’s going to ruin law and order.”</p>
<p>He characterized many migrants as violent criminals that their original countries did not want to deal with, stating, “They are sending people from other countries into Spain that are from prisons, that are from mental institutions, that are the worst criminals in their countries.”</p>
<p>Trump concluded by discussing the impact of immigration on communities, citing London as an example of a city that has changed significantly due to the influx of migrants. “I mean, if you go through London, London’s a much different place,” he said. “You have a terrible mayor. He’s a nasty guy, nasty person. He’s a very bad mayor.”</p>
