<p>Reports from Nepal indicate significant destruction and loss following recent flash floods. Thousands of individuals remain unaccounted for, and the provision of aid is being hindered by challenging conditions in areas severely impacted by the flooding. A week after the disaster, survivors who sought refuge in higher areas are being rescued by military helicopters.</p><p>The village of Syabru Besi has been notably affected, with local government officials reporting that at least 500 residents are missing, which constitutes about 25% of the village's population.
