Man Stabbed in Neck in Midtown Manhattan Incident

A 45-year-old man was stabbed in the neck outside a deli in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday evening, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD). The incident occurred near the intersection of 10th Avenue and West 52nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen around 8:15 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to Bellevue Hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and is reported to be in stable condition. Investigators believe that the victim and the suspect, who is still at large, were involved in a dispute prior to the stabbing. The suspect fled the scene heading northbound on 10th Avenue, described as wearing a white sweater, white shorts, and white sneakers. As of Tuesday night, no arrests have been made. This incident is part of a series of knife-related events in New York City over the past day, including a Bronx incident where a straphanger was repeatedly slashed during a confrontation, and a stabbing in Times Square that resulted in one fatality. Another stabbing occurred near St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Saks Fifth Avenue involving a 21-year-old man.
