DoorDash driver delivers food naked to Texas home, customer expresses concern

<p>A Houston DoorDash customer reported being surprised when he checked his security camera and saw that the delivery driver was naked. Kiante Matlock stated he did not expect the driver to deliver his food in that state, describing the situation as "crazy."</p><p>Matlock expressed concern about the implications of the driver's actions, noting, "And then to handle somebody's food … is ridiculous. [There] could have been an underage child coming to the door or a woman. … It's just sick." He was alerted to the delivery while playing video games inside his home, when his daughter notified him of a DoorDash notification for his Burger King order.</p><p>Upon reviewing the Ring doorbell camera footage, Matlock initially thought the driver was wearing a onesie before realizing he was "completely naked." By the time Matlock reached the door, the driver had already left.</p><p>Matlock chose not to consume the food delivered by the naked driver and received a refund from DoorDash. A DoorDash spokesperson stated, "What this consumer experienced was abhorrent, and we've reached out directly to offer our support. This man's behavior was vulgar and completely unacceptable, and as soon as we were made aware, our team permanently removed their access to our platform. We do not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct of any kind, and we stand ready to assist law enforcement with any investigation." The driver has not been identified.</p><p>DoorDash encourages customers to report inappropriate or concerning delivery behavior through the app and to contact law enforcement if they feel unsafe. Houston police advised residents to report concerning behavior and preserve surveillance footage or other evidence, as criminal charges could be possible following an investigation.</p><p>Matlock shared his experience to help protect others, advising, "If you have the opportunity to go get your own food, go get your own food. But if you can't, I guess just be careful and get you some cameras, that's all I can say."</p>
