Trump requests FCC action against journalist for comments on election endorsements

<p>President Donald Trump requested that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) take action against NBC journalist Kristen Welker for her statement regarding his election endorsements, which he described as having "mixed results." In a post on Truth Social, Trump indicated that Welker would be reported to the FCC for what he termed a "purposeful inaccuracy."</p><p>Trump criticized Welker, referring to her as the "Unpopular 'Hostess' of the once great Meet the Press" and claimed that her comments were misleading given his recent endorsement success, noting a 100% success rate for U.S. Senate endorsements and a 98% success rate for U.S. House endorsements. He stated, "How can anyone be allowed to say this, working for freely given Public Airwaves? Results are attached. Because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment."</p><p>In a separate post, Trump expressed concerns about media polls, stating, "THE FAKE POLLS USED BY OUR CROOKED MEDIA ARE OUT OF CONTROL, AND SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT IT.
