Visitor Injured on Batman Roller Coaster at Parque Warner Madrid

A visitor at Parque Warner Madrid was airlifted to a hospital following an incident on the Batman Gotham City Escape roller coaster on Saturday. The 49-year-old rider sustained an open fracture in his left leg and a closed fracture in his right leg, according to reports from Europa Press, citing emergency officials. The ride, which opened in 2023, is Spain's first multi-launch roller coaster and features three launches and four inversions. Park officials stated that the ride was immediately stopped and emergency procedures were activated. "The affected person was attended to immediately by emergency medical services," Parque Warner reported. First responders airlifted the injured visitor to a nearby hospital. Another visitor, Juan José Molina, noted that there was panic among some attendees, with reports of people crying and experiencing anxiety attacks. Parque Warner announced that the roller coaster will remain closed while management reviews the incident in coordination with authorities.
