Scheffler concluded the 2026 season tied for total wins with Chris Gotterup, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Wyndham Clark. He expressed pride in his ability to overcome challenging starts during tournaments, stating, "I think when you look over the course of the season, and especially some of the tough starts — shooting over-par to start a tournament on the PGA Tour is never a good spot to be in. I’m very proud of fighting back and having some good finishes and even giving myself some chances to win with some of those poor starts."
Scheffler's recent win has elevated him to the top of the PGA Tour's all-time money list, with career earnings of $130,390,661, surpassing Woods, who had held the top position since February 13, 2000, with total earnings of $120,999,166. The victory also added $10 million to Scheffler's earnings, bringing his total earnings over the past three weeks to $14.1 million. Scheffler's earnings are over $11 million ahead of Rory McIlroy among active players on the PGA Tour.
