Pegula, who won her first-round match against Elena-Gabriela Ruse, believes that if Alcaraz wins his initial rounds, he will quickly regain his form. Additionally, Tommy Paul expressed confidence that an American man could win the U.S. Open this year, highlighting the strong performance of American players leading into the tournament.
