Real Madrid doubled their lead in the 26th minute when Herrero failed to clear a rebound, resulting in an own goal. Mbappe scored the third goal in the 30th minute from a cross by Alexander-Arnold. After halftime, Bellingham struck the post, and Guler completed the scoring shortly after coming on by finishing a move initiated by Vinicius Junior. Real Madrid will next face Real Betis in Seville on Friday before starting their Champions League campaign against Inter Milan at home.
