Many signed up for the camp after seeing advertisements, hoping to meet new people in a relaxed environment.</p><p>During breakfast, the women shared stories and laughter, with Jackie Prendergast, a retiree, noting that their mascot for the weekend would be the flamingo, symbolizing their desire to regain vibrancy in their lives. The camp’s founder, Liv Schreiber, emphasized the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for friendship, having previously launched a matchmaking business.</p><p>Camp Social distinguishes itself as an all-female camp focused on friendship-making, with a waitlist of over 60,000 people. Campers received a guide on how to connect with others, and activities were structured to encourage interaction across generations. While some attendees were initially hesitant about attending alone, many found the environment conducive to forming new relationships.</p><p>Throughout the weekend, participants engaged in various activities, including yoga, archery, and karaoke, with many expressing a desire to feel youthful again.
