Enes Kanter Freedom issues challenge to Megan Rapinoe for soccer match

Enes Kanter Freedom appeared on "Fox News @ Night" on Thursday and responded to a clip of former U.S. women’s soccer player Megan Rapinoe, who had called him out on her podcast. Freedom challenged Rapinoe to a one-on-one soccer match, offering to donate $5 million to a charity of her choice if she wins. He stated, "So, Megan Rapinoe, I’m speaking directly to you. After your washed-up career, you’ve been seeking attention, and I will give you that attention because I’m a nice guy." Freedom further mentioned that he would determine the time and place for the match and expects Rapinoe to participate. He also criticized her advocacy for transgender athletes in women's sports. This exchange follows Freedom's announcement on August 7 that he plans to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft as a transgender athlete, a decision that has garnered backlash. Recently, he was escorted out of a Chicago Sky game after an altercation with player Natasha Cloud, who commented on his presence at the game. Additionally, Sparks player Cameron Brink referred to him as "a stupid piece of s–t" in response to his actions.
