Wan'Dale Robinson Evaluated for Concussion Following Practice Hit

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is being evaluated for a concussion after a hit during a joint practice with the Chicago Bears. The incident occurred when Robinson was struck by Bears safety Xavier Woods, leading to a brief altercation between the teams. Robinson, 25, was able to walk off the field unaided following the hit. Titans head coach Robert Saleh expressed his disapproval of the play, describing it as 'cheap.' Tennessee guard Peter Skoronski also criticized Woods, stating, 'That’s teach tape 101 in terms of what not to do in a thud practice.' He emphasized the importance of protecting teammates during practice. Titans quarterback Cam Ward, who threw the pass that led to the hit, acknowledged his responsibility in the situation, saying, 'I have to put him in a better situation.' Robinson is in his first season with the Titans after signing a four-year, $70 million contract. The Titans are scheduled to play the Bears in their final preseason game on Saturday and will open the regular season against the New York Jets on September 13, allowing Robinson just over two weeks to clear concussion protocol.
