The caller was unaware of who had fired the shots.</p><p>The caller mentioned taking cover and seeing officers nearby. The dispatcher attempted to keep the caller calm while help was dispatched to the water fountain area where the caller was located.</p><p>The dispatcher reassured the caller, saying, "It’s OK. Just breathe. Breathe with me. I’m going to stay with you." Moments later, the caller indicated they were with an officer.</p><p>Other emergency communications revealed dispatchers and first responders assessing the situation near the Seattle Center Armory. One dispatcher reported, "Multiple people down at this point," when asked about the number of victims.</p><p>As more information came in, another dispatcher requested additional aid units, stating there were at least two people down, but likely more.</p><p>Emergency crews treated the scene as active while determining the safety for responders to enter. A dispatcher later confirmed "six confirmed gunshot wounds" during the chaotic response.</p><p>The Seattle Police Department has provided limited updates on the investigation. Interim Police Chief Andre Sayles stated that investigators had developed new information and anticipated making an arrest, but did not disclose further details.</p><p>A 15-year-old suspect remains in custody related to the shooting.
