Jodie Sweetin discusses the impact of Bob Saget's death on the 'Full House' group chat

Jodie Sweetin, known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on the ABC sitcom 'Full House,' shared that the cast's group chat has been 'very quiet' since the death of Bob Saget in January 2022. Sweetin stated in an interview with SheKnows that Saget was often the first to send birthday wishes or initiate plans. Saget was found dead at age 65 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. The cause of death was determined to be blunt head trauma that caused a brain bleed after he accidentally hit the back of his head and went to sleep. Sweetin noted that every time the cast gathers, they feel Saget's absence, saying, 'Bob should be here.' She expressed that it is heartbreaking to have a reunion without him. The cast, which includes Candace Cameron Bure, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and Dave Coulier, released a joint statement after Saget's death, expressing their grief and gratitude for the memories they shared with him. Earlier this month, Sweetin, Stamos, Loughlin, Coulier, and Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler, reunited at The Nostalgia Con in Orlando, Florida. This event occurred six months after Coulier announced he was in remission from tongue cancer. Stamos shared a TikTok video of the cast dancing backstage to C+C Music Factory’s 'Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),' captioning it, 'Threw our necks out for this.'
