Hayden Panettiere Transported by First Responders Twice Prior to Death, Neighbor Reports

Hayden Panettiere was transported from her Los Angeles apartment on a gurney at least twice before her death, according to a neighbor, Mia Terrazas. Terrazas stated that first responders were called to the West Hollywood apartment complex where Panettiere lived with her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, on July 29, 2023, and again on January 16, 2024. She reported that Panettiere appeared to have visible bruises and red spots during these incidents. Terrazas expressed concern for Panettiere, describing her as a lovely person who made a positive impression. She noted that while she did not see drugs firsthand, she observed signs of substance use, particularly in Hickerson. In April 2021, Hickerson pleaded no contest to felony domestic abuse charges involving Panettiere, who was granted a five-year protection order against him. Following Hickerson's trespassing incident in 2025, the Home Owners' Association posted warnings to residents about him. Panettiere was found unresponsive at an Airbnb in South Carolina on August 16, 2026, and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Both Hickerson and his brother attempted to revive her using CPR and Narcan.
